When you first login to the Analytics4WiFi platform, you are presented with the dashboard overview. The overview is a summary of everything that is being collected and calculated for ALL of your clients, their hotspots, their nodes, devices, and guests.
MACS SEEN: Total number of distinct devices seen over the last 30 minutes. For a client user, all the devices seen by that client user client’s hotspots. For an operator user, all the devices seen by that operator user operator’s clients (and by extension those clients’ hotspots). For reference purposes, this data only includes devices with an RSSI > -85.
PASSERS BY: MACS SEEN – VISITORS.
VISITORS: Total number of distinct devices seen over the last 30 minutes, that are considered “visitors” (have been in the area for at least two minutes and have consistently been seen at least once every 5 minutes). For a client user, all the devices seen by that client user client’s hotspots. For an operator user, all the devices seen by that operator user operator’s clients (and by extension those clients’ hotspots). For reference purposes, this data only includes devices with an RSSI > -100.
CONNECTED: Total number of distinct devices seen over the last 30 minutes, that have actively connected to an access point. For a client user, all the devices seen by that client user client’s hotspots. For an operator user, all the devices seen by that operator user operator’s clients (and by extension those clients’ hotspots). For reference purposes, this data only includes devices with an RSSI > -85.
- If the login user is a client user, grabs all the devices seen for all that client’s hotspots over the past 30 minutes.
- If the login user is an operator user, grabs all the devices seen for all that operator’s clients (and by extension every one of those clients’ hotspots) over the past 30 minutes.
Same as Last 30 Minutes, but for the last 7 days.
Proximity: Line Graph of Passers by and MACs seen per day, over a 7-day period. MACs seen being total number of unique devices seen per day. Passers by being MACs SEEN – Visitors seen that day. For a client user, all the devices seen by that client user client’s hotspots. For an operator user, all the devices seen by that operator user operator’s clients (and by extension those clients’ hotspots). For reference purposes, this data only includes devices with an RSSI > -85.
Guests: Line Graph of Visitors and Connections per day, over a 7-day period. Visitors being total number of unique devices seen per day that are considered “visitors” (have been in the area for at least two minutes and have consistently been seen at least once every 5 minutes). Connections being seen that day that have actively connected to an access point. For a client user, all the devices seen by that client user client’s hotspots. For an operator user, all the devices seen by that operator user operator’s clients (and by extension those clients’ hotspots). For reference purposes, this data only includes devices with an RSSI > -85.
Dwell Time: How long a device has dwelled within any hotspot. These devices are all considered “visitors”. This Data will likely be larger than the visitors count, because this will include multiple visits from the same device.
Loyalty: Whether a device has been seen in any hotspot at least twice (has entered, then left an area, and then reentered), or if it is the first time that it has been seen. These devices can all be considered as “visitors”. This Data will likely be larger than the visitors count, because this will include multiple visits from the same device.
